The Product Category widget from Wow Elements Pro is a powerful tool for displaying WooCommerce product categories in an organized and visually appealing layout on your website. It allows you to showcase product categories with images, titles, and additional category information, helping customers browse your store more easily and discover products faster. With flexible layout, query, and styling options, you can easily customize the category display to match your store’s branding and improve the overall shopping experience. In this documentation, we will guide you through how to use and customize the Product Category widget in Wow Elements Pro.
Enable the Product Category Widget #

To use the Product Category by Wow Elements Pro, first, you have to enable the widget.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Wow Elements Pro Plugin dashboard.
- Then Click the Widgets Tab.
- Search the Product Category Widget Name.
- Enable the Product Category Widget.
- Hit the Save Settings Button.
Inserting the Product Category widget #

1. Go to the Elementor Editor Page and Hit the “+” icon Button.
2. Search the Product Category widget.
3. Drag the widget and drop it on the editor page
Content Tab Overview #
Layout Section #
Go to Content → Layout

1. Style: You can select the product category layout visual in different 6 styles with this option. Here we have select the style 1 layout.
2. Item Limit: You can adjust the limit to showcase your products category with this option.
3. Columns: You can set how many column you want to show to your audience with this option.,
4. Gap: You can ad just the gap between the items with this option.
5. Item Height: You can adjust the height of the items with this option.
6. Show Count: Enable the switcher to show the products count in each category with this option.
Query Section #
Go to Content → Query

1. Type: You can select the product category type with this option.
2. Include/Exclude: Select the Include / Exclude filter to show/hide specific posts by Terms (Tags/Categories) or Authors. Here, we selected the include field as categories.
3. Categories: You can select the categories here that you want to show to your audience.
4. Order By: It controls the data you want to display through title, id, date, author, comment count, menu order & random. Here we selected the order as date.
5. Order: This option controls the order by which data is arranged. There are two types of order. Ascending Order (Starts from the smallest or lowest value and goes to the largest or highest.) & Descending Order (Starts from the largest or highest value and goes to the smallest or lowest.)
6. Hide Empty: Enable the switcher to hide the product categories that don’t have any product with this option.
Style Tab Overview #
Items Section #
Go to Style → Items

In this section, we have two more tabs. These are Normal & Hover. Let’s start with the Normal Tab first –
1. Background Type: You can change the background type to be classic or gradient with this option. Here, we have selected the background type as Classic. (To work this option you need to use the png images)
2. Border Type: You can add and change the border types with this option.
3. Border Radius: You can control the roundness of the border with this option.
4. Padding: You can adjust the inner space of the items with this option.
5. Box Shadow: You can add a shadow effect to the items with this option.

Now, let’s proceed to the Hover Tab –
1. Background Type: You can change the hover background type to be classic or gradient with this option. Here, we have selected the background type as Classic. (To work this option you need to use the png images)
2. Box Shadow: You can add a hover shadow effect to the items with this option.
Image Section #
Go to Style → Image

In this section, we have two more tabs. These are Normal & Hover. Let’s start with the Normal Tab first –
1. Border Type: You can add and change the border types with this option.
2. Border Width: You can set the thickness of the border with this option.
3. Border Color: You can make changes to the border color with this option.
4. Border Radius: You can control the roundness of the border with this option.
5. CSS Filters: You can adjust the css filters to the image to edit the image with this option.

Now, let’s move to Hover Tab –
1. Border Color: You can make changes to the hover border color to the image with this option.
2. CSS Filters: You can edit the image in hover position with this option.
Content Section #
Go to Style → Content

In this section, we have two more tabs. These are Normal & Hover. Let’s start with the Normal Tab –
1. Glassmorphism: Enable the switcher to add the blur effect to the content. This will work only if you add the background image.
2. Blur Level: You can adjust the blur level with this option.
3. Background Type: You can change the background type to be classic or gradient with this option. Here, we have selected the background type as Classic.
4. Color: You can change the background color with this option.
5. Image: You can change the background image with this option.

6. Border Type: You can add and change the border types with this option.
7. Border Radius: You can control the roundness of the border with this option.
8. Padding: You can adjust the inner space of the content field with this option.
9. Margin: You can adjust the space around the field with this option.
10. Box Shadow: You can add a shadow effect to the box shadow with this option.

Now, let’s proceed to the Hover Tab –
1. Background Type: You can change the background type to be classic or gradient with this option. Here, we have selected the background type as Classic.
2. Color: You can change the background color with this option.
3. Image: You can add and change the background image with this option.
4. Border Color: You can make changes to the border color with this option.
5. Box Shadow: You can add a hover shadow effect to the content field with this option.

Go to Style → Title

In this section, we have two more tabs. These are Normal & Hover. Let’s start with the Normal Tab first –
1. Color: You can make changes to the title text with this option.
2. Margin: You can adjust the space around the title field with this option.
3. Typography: Change the font family, size, weight, transform, style, decoration, line height, letter spacing, and word spacing from here.

Now, let’s proceed to the Hover tab –
4. Color: You can make changes to the title text hover color with this option.
Count/Icon Section #
Go to Style → Count/Icon

In this section, we have two more tabs. These are Normal & Hover. Let’s start with the Normal Tab first –
1. Text Color: You can make changes to the count text color with this option.
2. Icon Color: You can make changes to the icon color with this option.
3. Padding: You can adjust the inner space with this option.
4. Margin: You can adjust the space around the field with this option.
5. Icon Size: You can adjust the size of the icon with this option.
6. Typography: Change the font family, size, weight, transform, style, decoration, line height, letter spacing, and word spacing from here.

Now, let’s proceed to the Hover Tab –
1. Text Color: You can make changes to the text hover color with this option.
