The Post Featured Image widget from Wow Elements is designed to dynamically display the featured image of the current post within your website layouts. It is primarily used in the Theme Builder to create custom Single Post templates, allowing the featured image to be automatically pulled and displayed for each individual post. With flexible image styling and customization controls, you can easily adjust the appearance, size, and layout of featured images to match your website’s design. In this documentation, we will guide you through how to use and customize the Post Featured Image widget in Wow Elements.
Enable the Post Featured Image Widget #

To use the Post Featured Image by Wow Elements Pro, first, you have to enable the widget.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Wow Elements Pro Plugin dashboard.
- Then Click the Widgets Tab.
- Search the Post Featured Image Widget Name.
- Enable the Post Featured Image Widget.
- Hit the Save Settings Button.
Things That Must Need To Do Before Using The Widget #

1. Go to WP Dashboard → Wow Elements.
2. Click on the Theme Builder Tab.
3. Now, click on the Add New Template to create new template.

4. Here, in this field you have to select the type of template where you want to work. We have selected the Post Type Single category template.
5. You can set a name for your template in this field.
6. You can set the status of the template to active or inactive with this option.
7. You can click on the create template button to complete the creation and once it created it will automatically redirect your to the elementor editor to create your design.
Inserting the Post Featured Image widget #

After the editor open within the theme builder, please do the followings to use the Post Featured Image
2. Search the Post Title widget.
3. Drag the widget and drop it on the editor page
Content Tab Overview #
Image Section #
Go to Content → Image

1. Image Resolution: You can adjust the resolution of the image with this option. You can choose between Thumbnail, Medium, Medium Large, Full or Custom with this option.
Style Tab Overview #
Image Section #
Go to Style → Image

1. Width: You can set the width of the image with this option.
2. Max Width: You can set the maximum width of the image with this option.
3. Height: You can adjust the height of the image with this option..
4. Object Fit: You can choose the object fit option between default, fill, cover & contain with this option.
5. Alignment: You can set the position of the image to place in left, center or right with this option.

In this section, we have two more tabs. These are Normal & Hover. Let’s start with describing the Normal Tab first –
1. Opacity: You can adjust the transparency of the image with this option.
2. CSS Filters: You can edit the image by customizing the blur, brightness, contrast, saturation & hue with this option.
3. Border Type: You can add a border to the image and change it’s type with this option.
4. Border Radius: You can control the roundness of the border with this option.
5. Box Shadow: You can add a shadow effect to the image with this option.

Now, let’s proceed to the Hover Tab –
6. Opacity: You can adjust the hover transparency of the image with this option.
7. CSS Filters: You can edit the image by customizing the blur, brightness, contrast, saturation & hue with this option to appear while hovering over it.
8. Transition Duration: You can adjust the duration of the hover animation duration with this option.
9. Hover Animation: You can set an hover animation to the image with this option.
All done! You have successfully customized the Post Featured Image widget on your website.
